Course Overview

This online, self-paced awareness course explains how drugs and alcohol affect safety and performance on construction sites. Construction is high-risk work, and impairment sharply raises the chance of serious incidents, which is why most sites manage it through a clear policy, awareness training and, often, workplace testing. In about one hour you work through a single module covering the effects of drugs and alcohol, your responsibilities, how site policies and testing arrangements work, and where to get help. It is written for construction and electrical workers, and for the supervisors responsible for site safety. This is an introductory awareness course, not a competency or qualification. Finish the knowledge assessment to earn a certificate of completion, which counts toward your CPD.
